Hands on robotics data collection

Operate robotic systems through teleoperation tools, controllers or guided software interfaces. The resulting real world data supports the training and assessment of AI models that control robot behavior.

Daily execution

• Carry out structured navigation, pick and place, and object interaction tasks in different environments.
• Follow detailed procedures and adjust as instructions, tools and priorities change.
• Capture and validate video, sensor information and task logs during each run.
• Flag unusual behavior, failures and edge cases with clear information for follow up.
• Maintain accuracy and repeatability over repeated attempts.
• Work with onsite engineering, quality and program colleagues to improve the process and support rapid iteration.

Required capabilities

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Strong hand and eye coordination, spatial awareness and clear spoken and written communication are important.

You should be comfortable operating controllers, keyboards or specialized interfaces for long periods and following detailed instructions accurately. Careful observation, sound escalation judgment and reliability are essential when working methods change frequently.

Helpful experience

Gaming, simulation or other technical system experience is useful. Additional advantages include exposure to robotics, autonomous systems, drones, teleoperation, remote control or quality testing.

Experience collecting, logging or annotating data, working against operational metrics, and an interest in AI or robotics are also relevant.

Working environment

Work is onsite in a robotics laboratory, warehouse or simulated real world setting. Shifts involve extended standing and may require occasional lifting or movement of up to 15 pounds.

Tasks are repetitive, with consistent execution and data quality the priority. Expect frequent changes to procedures in a busy operational environment.
