Required background

Candidates must be based in India and have at least two years of professional software engineering experience, excluding internships. Backend, frontend, full-stack and systems engineering backgrounds are relevant.

Strong coding ability in at least one major language is needed, such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript or Go. Experience building and debugging production code is required, together with clear writing, attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed technical instructions independently.

Contract terms

This project is invite-only. Rates can reach $25 per hour and depend on the assignment.

Work is remote and asynchronous, with flexible hours and no minimum commitment. These are ongoing, part-time project contracts rather than a conventional full-time engineering role, and participation can fit alongside primary employment.

One submission can lead to consideration for available projects when qualified. Actual placement depends on project availability.

Participation starts with account registration, identity verification and onboarding to a relevant project before paid work begins.
