AI/ML Engineer, Internal Platforms

The work

Create new capabilities for an AI recruiting agent and improve its reliability through experimentation. Work with LLMs, agent frameworks and production services to deliver useful AI features.

• Develop agent capabilities using contemporary language models.
• Build backend services and APIs in Python.
• Iterate on prompts, retrieval workflows and agent orchestration.
• Measure model performance and improve quality through experiments.
• Deliver AI features with product and engineering colleagues.
• Deploy and operate scalable production systems while keeping current with models, tools and engineering practices.

Experience and skills

• Strong Python engineering skills and experience building LLM applications with AI APIs.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or comparable agent frameworks.
• API development experience using FastAPI or similar tools.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Strong problem solving, experimental judgment and clear collaboration.
• Preferred experience includes shipping AI agents or products into production.
• Knowledge of RAG, tool calling, evaluation and prompt engineering is helpful.
• Open source contributions, personal AI applications and experience in rapidly evolving AI teams are advantages.

Working arrangements

This full time remote position has a national base salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 per year. Employees are eligible for equity, and performance bonuses may apply depending on role and policy.
