Support a customer project focused on advanced engineering assemblies. The work contributes professional knowledge and practical examples to AI training. This input supports how models learn, reason, and perform on real-world tasks.

What the work involves

• Examine multi-part mechanical assemblies provided in native FreeCAD files, ensuring full understanding of component relationships and assembly design intent.
• Build objective, non-guessable, and precise question-and-answer sets for each assigned assembly, focusing on technical accuracy and clarity.
• Develop several detailed technical questions per assembly, covering mechanical functions, design rationale, and dimensional considerations.
• Format each question and corresponding answer to be unambiguous and aligned with real-world engineering standards.
• Send high-quality deliverables within agreed-upon project parameters, maintaining clear and prompt communication with project coordinators.
• Apply written and verbal communication skills to clarify ambiguities and collaborate effectively within a distributed team environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Proven background in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design, with strong foundational and applied CAD knowledge.
• Expertise in interpreting and analyzing complex mechanical assemblies and engineering drawings.
• Working familiarity with FreeCAD is advantageous; however, experience with other CAD platforms (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, Autodesk Inventor) is valuable.
• A track record of being able to author clear, precise, and objective technical documentation or assessment materials.
• Close attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a commitment to technical accuracy and objectivity.
• Excellent communication skills in writing and speech, emphasizing documenting technical insights for varied audiences.
• Capacity to work independently, manage deliverables, and adapt to project requirements in a remote context.
