Opportunity

You'll contribute humanities judgment to AI training and evaluation when a suitable project becomes available. This is a standing pool for humanities scholars, not a specific open job. The pool stays open even when there is no matching assignment, because new projects can begin on short notice. Your professional standards help define the criteria used to evaluate AI responses.

Potential assignments

• You might write a question from your field with the sources, context, interpretive problem, and reference answer needed for evaluation.
• You might assess whether an AI argument represents its sources faithfully, reasons convincingly, and respects historical or cultural context.
• You might flag fluent prose that misreads a text, oversimplifies an ongoing scholarly debate, or supplies an invented citation. Past projects in this field have posted or paid $45 to $60 an hour. Rates are set separately for each project by scope and depth.

Background

• A graduate degree in a humanities field, or equivalent scholarly or professional experience.
• You'll need to explain your reasoning clearly in writing, which makes up much of the work.
• You'll need to work through ambiguous tasks and point out instructions that need clarification.

• Religious studies; cultural studies What matters is explaining why one reading is strong and where a plausible but weaker interpretation fails, rather than where you trained.

Application and matching

You'll submit your resume, confirm where you work from, and complete a short AI interview; the application and interview take about 20 minutes in total. Your background is then verified before you are added to the relevant pool. When your specialty matches a project, you'll receive an invitation to its separate listing. That listing identifies the rate, hours, and client, and any hiring decision happens there.

What to expect

You won't receive an acceptance or rejection for this standing listing. Depending on available client projects, a matching invitation may arrive within a week or take several months. Completing the domain expert interview and joining each network you qualify for improves your chances of a match. One signup is enough to make you eligible across those networks.
