Description

Clinical contribution

Help AI research reflect the clinical reasoning used in vascular testing. This hourly contract draws on practical clinical experience to develop demanding tasks and assess the answers produced by AI systems. The work can fit around an existing role through a flexible, part time arrangement.

Tasks and review

  • Create challenging exercises based on actual clinical workflows, covering duplex image acquisition, Doppler waveform interpretation, ABI and segmental pressure testing, plethysmography, stenosis and thrombosis assessment, and preliminary reporting.
  • Judge model responses for clinical or technical correctness, patient safety, and consistency with current practice and relevant professional guidance.
  • Explain your assessments in organized written feedback that researchers can use to improve model performance.

The assignments call for specialist judgment and clear explanations of complex vascular testing concepts. Careful reading and attention to the details of each response are essential to the review work.

Qualifications

Applicants must have completed an accredited sonography program and hold a bachelor’s degree. Current ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification or the equivalent Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.

Working knowledge is required in at least one of these areas:

  • Arterial duplex and physiologic examinations of the arms or legs; venous duplex for DVT and insufficiency mapping.
  • Carotid, cerebrovascular, and transcranial Doppler examinations, plus renal, mesenteric, and aortic imaging.
  • Dialysis access examinations and mapping of veins.
  • Follow up of stents, grafts, and endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), alongside waveform and hemodynamic analysis.

RDMS or RDCS credentials and experience across vascular or ultrasound specialties are useful additions. Further strengths include work in an accredited vascular lab such as an IAC accredited facility, academic medicine, or vascular surgery; teaching students or new technologists; and reporting or image management experience.

All contributors need strong written communication, a careful approach to detail, and the ability to complete assignments independently in a remote environment.

Pay and working arrangements

Compensation is hourly and may reach $130 per hour, depending on the project. Work is fully remote and asynchronous, so tasks can be completed at your own pace without a fixed schedule or a minimum number of hours. The research program operates throughout the year, with assignments opening periodically in different specialties.
