Digital Illustrator

Research contribution

Help AI research reflect the practical work involved in digital illustration and two dimensional graphics. Your experience with professional software provides the basis for assessing AI content and giving feedback on how well it understands the tasks and workflows used in this field.

What you will do

• Develop prompts grounded in your own professional subject area.
• Review answers produced by large language models using your practical experience.
• Give feedback that helps AI researchers improve the way models understand professional tasks.

The assignments are completed in collaboration with AI research teams, primarily through asynchronous work. Participation also offers opportunities to learn skills while contributing to research across disciplines.

Software experience

At least one year of professional experience with one or more of the following tools, or related technical software, is required:

• GIMP, Inkscape, Krita, LibreSprite, or comparable tools for creating two dimensional graphics.

You must be able to work with a research team asynchronously. The contribution depends on practical familiarity with the software and the domain work it supports.

Working arrangements

The role is remote, part time project work, paid by the hour. You can work independently from your chosen location and organize tasks around your other commitments. Hours are flexible, with no minimum amount of time required.

Pay may reach $125 per hour, depending on the project. Placement requires an available assignment that fits the relevant area of expertise. The research program operates throughout the year, with opportunities opening periodically across specialties.

The onboarding process includes creating an account, verifying your identity, and completing the steps for a suitable project before starting work.
