Defense analysis for AI evaluation

Evaluate generated scenarios involving military operations, armed conflict, and defense decisions. This remote contract draws on civilian defense analysis experience to identify factual or analytical errors and improve AI reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Assess scenarios involving military operations, conflict, and defense planning.
• Check the realism of stated capabilities, operational assumptions, and conflict analysis.
• Review civilian protection, operational constraints, and the application of International Humanitarian Law.
• Identify flawed reasoning and unrealistic assumptions.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback on the content reviewed.

Qualifications

Professional experience in defense analysis, military operations analysis, conflict analysis, or national security research is expected. Relevant backgrounds include defense research, capability assessment, conflict analysis, and operational planning.

Strong understanding of military operations and armed conflict is important, together with the ability to evaluate complex cases and communicate findings clearly. Experience with defense organizations, government agencies, research institutes, think tanks, or international organizations is highly desirable.

Familiarity with International Humanitarian Law, Rules of Engagement, or civilian protection is a plus.
