Research AI behavior in live workflows

Work closely with enterprise clients and domain specialists to understand how AI systems perform in practice. You'll turn operational problems into focused research questions, then test improvements through short experimental cycles.

• Identify, define, and prioritize failures in deployed systems.
• Design informative datasets and evaluation protocols around those weaknesses.
• Run experiments to test hypotheses and measure changes in performance.
• Produce clear analyses that support decisions about system behavior.
• Develop and benchmark agent workflows for robustness and scalability.
• Build lightweight tools for evaluation, data curation, and iteration.
• Contribute reports, benchmarks, and other research outputs.

Required background

A master's degree in computer science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a related technical subject is required. You should have experience designing datasets and evaluation frameworks for machine learning systems.

Strong judgment about data selection and evaluation quality is essential. The role also requires familiarity with reinforcement learning environments or agent evaluation and the ability to convert ambiguous operational issues into structured research problems.

Collaboration and execution

You should communicate concisely and focus on findings that support action. Experience working across research, product, and domain teams, together with reliable execution in fast experimental cycles, is important.

Client facing research or technical experience, internal evaluation tooling, benchmark contributions, publications, or open research work would be helpful. Exposure to enterprise deployments or embedded research roles is also relevant.

Compensation and benefits

This is a full time position with a national annual base salary range of $200,000–250,000. Employees are eligible for equity, with possible performance based compensation subject to role and policy.
