Capture everyday tasks for robotics research

Record household activities so robotics models can learn how tasks are performed in real environments. You'll follow detailed procedures to create footage that is consistent, repeatable, and useful for training.

• Capture first person video of cleaning, laundry, cooking, and other household activities with an Android device and headset.
• Follow recording instructions carefully and meet the project's data quality standards.
• Review other contributors' recordings and provide structured feedback.
• Work with research equipment such as sensors, cameras, or specialized glasses when provided or reimbursed.

Equipment and participation

You must own an Android device and be comfortable installing and using the required apps. iOS is not currently supported.

You must also be willing to purchase a headset for recording. Reimbursement is provided after the specified participation conditions have been met, rather than automatically at purchase.

What you'll need

Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow precise procedures are important. You should be comfortable being recorded while completing tasks and wearing research equipment.

No robotics or AI experience is required. Openness to recurring participation and consistent contribution over time is helpful.

Contract arrangement

This is a flexible remote hourly contract, with the possibility of recurring weekly sessions. Continued assignments or a contract extension may be available.
