You'll help improve how large language models handle specialized scientific and technical subjects. This fellowship brings doctoral researchers and graduates together to develop tasks and assess model responses using deeper knowledge of their own fields.

Academic background

Participants must reside in Latin America. Current PhD students, doctoral graduates and postdoctoral researchers in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Engineering are included.

Strong writing is important because research knowledge needs to become structured, understandable instructions and evaluation criteria. You should be confident that your subject knowledge can identify where current AI systems fall short in understanding and explaining the field.

Project terms

This is independent contract work, not a full-time employee position. The fellowship operates throughout the year, with projects opening periodically and availability differing across disciplines.

All work is remote, independent and asynchronous. The listing describes an approximate commitment of 10–20 hours per week, while its work-model section specifies no minimum and notes that many active contributors spend about 5–20 hours weekly.

Hourly rates may reach $30, depending on the project. Placement depends on current requirements, and contributors can be considered for later assignments as suitable projects open. Participation starts with registration, identity verification and onboarding to a relevant project.
