Description
Technical testing governance
Lead quality assurance across the frontend, middleware and backend of a complex onboarding system. Own API contract testing architecture and the data models used to represent complicated entity relationships, including hierarchical parent and child structures.
Validation must be checked independently at every downstream layer. Client side checks or other upstream assumptions should be treated as matters to verify, with evidence demonstrating how each layer behaves.
Architecture and evidence review
- Define QA delivery standards, required evidence, review procedures and release quality gates.
- Assess frontend constraint dictionaries and finite state or other state model outputs for consistency and completeness.
- Review reconstructed API schemas, network observations and tracer replay results for technical soundness and traceability.
- Evaluate the architecture of tests, validation methods and coverage plans.
- Coordinate analysts, test engineers and test operations staff so technical work fits the delivery timetable.
- Resolve dependencies, organize evidence revisions and reconcile findings between software layers.
Delivery and handoff
Act as the escalation contact for discrepancies across layers and concerns about evidence quality. Assemble the technical dossiers produced by each workstream and identify missing evidence, inconsistencies and work that needs to be repeated before client handoff.
Report on technical risk, delivery status, dependencies and unresolved gaps. Prepare the evidence package for the client group responsible for final modeling and assessment of logic gaps, and ensure technical presentations remain grounded in observable results.
Required background
At least 8 years of QA leadership spanning frontend, middleware and backend testing is required. You need demonstrated expertise in API contract testing design and governance, together with practical knowledge graph or entity relationship modeling experience applied to test and data traceability.
Strong understanding of layered architecture and independent verification is necessary. You should have established technical standards and quality gates, guided teams across manual, automated and system testing, and mentored or managed test engineers and QA analysts.
Additional strengths
Experience leading complex technical QA, API validation or security assessment work over several weeks is strongly preferred. Experience developing evidence and traceability models for complex workflows is also useful.
Familiarity with knowledge graphs, relationship models or structured dependency and evidence models is preferred, though specialist knowledge graph engineering is not required. Clear communication and the ability to turn detailed evidence into concise client findings are essential.
