Clinical recruiting

Identify clinicians for remote, part time, nonclinical expert assignments supporting AI development. This remote independent contract relies on healthcare recruiting experience and does not require a background in AI.

Responsibilities

• Find suitable candidates across medicine, advanced practice care, nursing and clinical pharmacy.
• Build targeted candidate pipelines through professional contacts, lateral searches, networking, and Boolean techniques.
• Screen clinicians against assignment briefs while protecting confidentiality throughout the process.
• Check credentials and verify professional licenses or bar status where relevant.
• Coordinate communication between candidates and project leads during recruitment and onboarding.
• Document outreach, candidate activity, and feedback to make progress visible and improve the process.
• Share healthcare talent market observations to refine role requirements and sourcing plans.

Required background

Experience in physician recruitment, lateral search, and healthcare contract staffing is required. You should understand clinical specialties and staffing needs, interview and screen effectively, and handle candidate information with discretion.

The requirements also include experience sourcing attorneys and verifying bar credentials when needed. Boolean searching, networking, durable professional relationships, independent work, and management of several concurrent assignments are expected.

Preferred experience

Physician, locum tenens, or broader clinical recruiting experience is preferred. An established clinician network and experience locating subspecialists, including pediatric oncologists, interventional radiologists, or clinical informaticists, are advantages.

Clear communication and the ability to operate independently are valued. Other clients may be served at the same time.

Engagement

There are no prescribed working hours or guaranteed assignments. You are responsible for your own business expenses and applicable taxes as an independent contractor.
