Responsibilities

• Identify and engage researchers with PhDs in life sciences, computational biology, battery chemistry, and related disciplines.
• Search academic networks and publication databases to find candidates internationally.
• Assess scientific accomplishments, publication records, technical depth, and suitability for project needs.
• Introduce qualified candidates to project teams for expert assignments.
• Protect sensitive information about candidates and clients throughout the process.
• Record and report sourcing activity and share observations on the research talent market.
• Manage your work independently within the agreed processes and professional standards.

Required background

You need demonstrated scientific or life sciences recruiting experience and a record of sourcing talent at PhD level. Relevant skills include Boolean searching, evaluation of publications, and effective use of academic and industry research contacts.

The role calls for knowledge of scientific fields such as battery chemistry, computational biology, and biostatistics. Experience finding scarce specialists internationally, strong relationship building, and the ability to screen for technical fit are required, alongside professionalism and discretion.

Preferred experience and engagement

An established researcher network and academic contacts are advantages, as is further experience recruiting in the specialist fields above. The engagement has no fixed working hours or assured assignment volume, and you cover your own business expenses and applicable taxes.
