Intelligence Agency Officer

The work

Contribute civilian intelligence experience to AI training and evaluation. Review analytical material and create realistic scenarios grounded in intelligence collection, operations or national security decision making.

• Interpret complex intelligence information and provide nuanced feedback on training scenarios.
• Review and improve written material reflecting intelligence methods and operations.
• Create realistic operational narratives and scenario based content.
• Find meaningful trends and anomalies across structured and unstructured information.
• Draft and check communications modeled on intelligence exchanges, preserving clarity and security awareness.
• Respond promptly to stakeholders in an asynchronous setting through thoughtful written and spoken communication.
• Help refine AI tools around the analytical needs of intelligence professionals.

Preferred experience and skills

• Preferred candidates currently work or have worked at a civilian intelligence organization such as the CIA, NSA, MI6/SIS, GCHQ or a comparable national agency.
• Expertise in intelligence collection methods, threat assessment and operational planning.
• Accurate, detailed writing and strong spoken communication.
• Ability to synthesize substantial information into concise, useful conclusions.
• Practical knowledge of disciplines such as HUMINT, SIGINT and OSINT.
• Experience creating, reviewing or teaching material for intelligence or analytical audiences.
• Comfort delivering careful work independently within a distributed remote project.
