Customer Service Expert

The work

Represent customers on live calls with US businesses and service providers. Complete reservations, appointments and confirmations while recording accurate outcomes. This Latin American remote contract does not require previous AI experience.

• Make and receive calls for customers to arrange reservations, schedule appointments and confirm vendor details.
• Communicate professionally with businesses to obtain information and complete requests.
• Navigate automated menus, queues and call centers to reach the right person.
• Record important details and results for each interaction while protecting confidential information.
• Handle consecutive short calls covering varied needs.
• Coordinate with remote colleagues and maintain discretion, professionalism and consistent service.

Preferred experience and skills

• Preferred experience includes executive or virtual assistance, concierge work or telephone customer support.
• Fluent, clear and neutral spoken English, with the ability to improvise during US conversations.
• Confidence making outbound and cold calls and working through automated telephone systems.
• Reliable fast internet, a quiet workspace and a good wired or USB headset.
• Hospitality, restaurant or travel experience is helpful; negotiation or escalation experience is an advantage.
• Ability to manage successive tasks and work independently while maintaining service quality.

Working arrangements

Eligible locations include Mexico and Central America, plus Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia. Contractors are paid for scheduled hours of availability, rather than each call completed.

The initial engagement lasts four weeks and consists of four five hour shifts weekly, up to 20 hours. Contributors must remain active and responsive throughout each assigned shift, and part of the team must be available on weekends.

Selection is typically completed within 48 hours, with first shifts expected 24 to 48 hours after onboarding.
