AI data project delivery

You’ll help lead one large strategic project or several medium projects through their full delivery cycle. The work covers data collection, labeling and evaluation programs that support generative AI, combining client coordination, financial control and quality management.

You’ll execute the agreed approach within scope, budget and policy, escalating unusual or high-impact matters. Day-to-day direction may cover a small group of roughly two to eight junior project managers or coordinators, while quality outcomes are shared with the quality analyst team.

Delivery and client responsibilities

• Execute plans, milestones, staffing and controls across large projects or multiple parallel workstreams.
• Contribute to client governance meetings, progress reviews and planning discussions.
• Handle changes to scope, priorities and project requirements.
• Plan and secure reviewer or annotator capacity, aligning training, shifts and handoffs across time zones.
• Investigate root causes, coordinate corrective actions and escalate material risks with their impacts and possible responses.
• Keep project trackers and dashboards current and turn delivery data into useful insights for clients and leaders.

Budgets, quality and improvement

Track budgets, rates, margins, forecasts, spending and change orders to protect project profitability. Apply practical judgment when balancing financial and delivery requirements.

Work with quality analysts on the assurance approach and continuous feedback loops. Help develop standard procedures, templates and dashboards, and contribute to pilots for new delivery methods or AI data services.

Ensure that data handling, privacy and security policies are followed in every workstream. Quality gates and acceptance criteria should remain part of routine delivery rather than separate after-the-fact checks.

Required background

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, data or operations, engineering or a related field is requested. You should have at least one year leading complex projects or operations in AI data, content review, annotation, labeling or an adjacent area.

Experience coordinating several teams and managing client contacts is important. Strong planning, clear communication with senior stakeholders and confidence escalating or negotiating scope issues are also required.

• Work effectively with spreadsheets, project or task boards and basic business intelligence tools.
• Understand budgets, margins and change orders.
• Coach junior project managers and coordinators.
• Be comfortable working with globally distributed teams, using intermediate to advanced English.
• Treat familiarity with extract, transform and load concepts as an additional advantage.

Additional qualifications
