Description
What the session involves
You'll meet individually with a researcher to help improve hand and wrist tracking technology across a broader range of people. No technical knowledge or specialist skill is needed; the researcher will guide you through each activity.
- Attend an in-person research session using prototype technology.
- Perform simple hand poses and wrist movements with support from the researcher.
- Describe your experience and provide feedback during the session.
Payment, location and dates
Completion of the session pays $120. The appointment lasts up to three hours and takes place in Hudson Yards, New York.
The stated study window is August 4–31, 2026. Participants indicate available weeks during screening, after which the research team follows up to arrange an exact date and time.
Screening and participation
You must be able to attend in person and be comfortable completing a short screening questionnaire. The study does not require prior research or technical experience.
Screening includes questions about background and physical characteristics, such as wrist size, because the study needs a physically diverse participant group. Each question explains the reason the information is requested.
Participation is voluntary and has no effect on eligibility for future projects. Selected participants receive a complete consent form before deciding whether to take part; it explains the study and exactly what information will be collected.
