Spanish Patent Language Lead

Patent and legal language leadership

Oversee English to Spanish translation, copy editing and review of complex patent and legal documents. The position calls for substantial translation and localization knowledge, with the judgment needed to ensure that legal language is precise and the finished material serves its intended client purpose.

Core responsibilities

• Translate or review intricate patent and legal content, maintaining accuracy throughout the deliverables.
• Coordinate language support with quality specialists, program teams, talent colleagues, external linguists and other stakeholders.
• Maintain the required standard of translation while monitoring costs against the available budget.
• Contribute editing support, help resolve disputed errors and participate in broader quality improvement work.
• Understand applicable legal requirements and involve production colleagues in meeting them.

Client delivery

The role supports intellectual property work across jurisdictions, where clear terminology and dependable language judgments are important to legal teams. It requires close cooperation across the production process so that both the quality expectations and the purpose of each document remain central.
