Chinese speech coaching and evaluation

Contribute your language judgment to AI training by coaching Chinese pronunciation and delivery and reviewing speech samples. This remote contract pays $30 to $60 per hour and lets you arrange your work around your own schedule.

You will need a quiet place to work and dependable internet access. Previous AI experience is not required.

Audio review responsibilities

• Listen to Chinese recordings and assess how natural and fluent the speaker or model sounds.
• Evaluate pronunciation, intonation and linguistic authenticity using the supplied guidelines.
• Record concise assessments in English and explain the linguistic reasons for each judgment.
• Give sufficiently detailed justifications to support consistent, clear evaluations.
• Discuss unclear language content or requirements with project coordinators.
• Contribute observations that help improve Chinese language understanding and generation in AI.
• Complete assigned reviews accurately and on time while maintaining consistent quality.

Language and communication skills

Native command of spoken and written Chinese is required, together with at least B2 English for written and verbal communication. You should be attentive to detail and able to explain subtle differences in speech clearly and accurately.

Experience in voice work, linguistics, phonetics, music, audio engineering or a related field is preferred. A background in audio analysis, transcription or linguistic evaluation is particularly valued.

Familiarity with media, communications or teaching is an additional advantage. These backgrounds support the core work of explaining pronunciation, delivery and language authenticity.

Selection steps
