Italian Multimedia Content Reviewer (part time position))

Write and review localized media

Create accurate, culturally appropriate multimedia content in a language you speak at native level. The role develops into responsibility for a language market, including spotting cultural concerns and recommending wording or content changes that suit local audiences.

• Translate and adapt multimedia, legal, technical and marketing material while following the relevant writing guides.
• Produce original copy for music, television, app stores, video on demand and game subscription products.
• Review your own work and other localization contributors' work across content types, editing and checking facts for accuracy.
• Test published material for localization quality, including music and app descriptions, marketing assets and campaigns.
• Research local content conventions, product and terminology trends, and localization practices relevant to the intended audience.
• Transcribe spoken material, including lyrics, and report on media data or assets across different formats.
• Review language assessments and prepare training documents for new projects so collaborators understand terminology, style and working practices.
• Coordinate with global language colleagues in virtual meetings and email to align wording, share market insights and address content review or translation needs.

Editorial background

A BS/BA and at least two years in journalism, copywriting or copyediting media content are required, with writing samples demonstrating the work. Experience translating and localizing multimedia content is also needed, alongside creative writing ability and confident language judgment.

The role calls for broad familiarity with music artists, television, cinema, gaming and popular culture. Interest in media and technology helps inform local content decisions and identify inconsistencies within large volumes of material.

• Communicate fluently in spoken and written English and make clear decisions for your language market.
• Type your native language competently using a local English keyboard.
• Work confidently with computers; familiarity with iOS and macOS is an advantage.
