Assess photographic and cinematic work using experience with light, framing, camera settings and delivery. This contractor opportunity is fully remote and open worldwide, with pay of a rate that needs confirmation.

Review responsibilities

• Compare images or clips against a brief and intended audience, explaining which version works better.
• Examine exposure, focus, color, composition, lens selection and camera movement.
• Identify problems that could affect later use, including noise, flicker, clipped highlights and unsuitable frame rates or file formats.
• Check suitability for print, web, social, broadcast or film delivery.
• Write concise reasons for each judgment so another reviewer can understand the decision.

Relevant experience

Professional work as a photographer, cinematographer, director of photography, camera operator or video producer is relevant. You need experience shooting for clients, productions, publications or brands, including briefs, shoot days, postproduction and final client delivery.

You should work with professional cameras and editing or grading tools such as Lightroom, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve or Premiere every day. Clear written English and confidence explaining why one shot succeeds where another does not are important.
