Localization Quoting Specialist (LQS)

Scope and quote localization work

Assess each project’s requirements and prepare its quotation, keeping project managers informed so client requests are handled promptly. Support completion through language tools and pilot processes as well as commercial coordination.

Client and quotation responsibilities

• Prepare client quotes and calculate delivery turnaround times.
• Follow up on quotations to achieve the required acceptance rate.
• Monitor client satisfaction and changes in service use, sharing feedback on completed work.
• Identify additional sales opportunities while retaining existing accounts.
• Discuss sales plans for current clients with business development colleagues.
• Advise clients on project specifications and expenses.
• Improve existing-client workflows, reduce administrative effort and support stronger margins.
• Meet performance targets for quoted value, accepted value and project pricing across current accounts.
• Communicate project details professionally and convey specific client requirements to project managers.

Financial and system accuracy

Enter the correct project information into financial systems, including client and provider legal entities, purchase orders when needed and billing schedules. Accurate setup supports the financial controls associated with project delivery.

Education and experience

Intermediate or higher vocational training in administration, or a university degree, is required. A master’s degree is desirable rather than essential.

The role requests two to four years of customer-facing experience connected to localization, translation or project management. Fluent English and comprehensive Microsoft Office skills are required.

Additional languages are helpful. Knowledge of MEMOQ, SDL and FineReader is also desirable.
