Recruit cleared professionals, veterans and former government or military attorneys for paid consulting that contributes expertise to AI training. This remote assignment draws on recruiting knowledge; previous work in AI is not needed.

Recruiting responsibilities

• Identify and contact suitable specialists through established networks for part time expert work carried out remotely.
• Examine credentials, confirm clearance status and assess suitability against sensitive role requirements.
• Coordinate communication between candidates and the project team, treating information securely and discreetly.
• Keep complete, protected records of sourcing contacts, outreach, candidate recommendations and placements.
• Provide observations about defence recruiting conditions and trends in the cleared talent market.
• Manage sourcing independently within the agreed requirements and professional standards.

Required experience

You need a successful record in government or cleared recruiting, including defence searches and outreach to veterans. Existing relationships with TS/SCI, Secret or other cleared specialists and military personnel moving into civilian work are important.

The role requires detailed knowledge of security clearances, confidential candidate engagement and secure recordkeeping. Experience assessing compliance and suitability for sensitive positions, strong organisation, sound professional discretion and clear communication are also required.

Preferred background

Relevant strengths include additional cleared, defence or government recruiting experience and relationships with former JAG officers, government attorneys and specialist cleared talent. Success operating independently for multiple clients is valuable.

Engagement terms

The arrangement is an independent contract, with no fixed work schedule and no assurance of a particular volume of assignments. Business expenses and applicable taxes remain the contractor's responsibility.
