Hospitality Worker (Toast POS User)

The work

Contribute practical restaurant experience to an AI training project focused on Toast POS. Review how the system works in real service settings and explain its workflows in clear, useful language. Prior AI experience is not needed.

• Assess order entry, payment handling and reports, then explain what works and what needs attention.
• Create restaurant scenarios and practical walkthroughs grounded in actual Toast operations.
• Review features, troubleshoot recurring difficulties and describe improvements.
• Explain setup, configuration and effective operating practices across different restaurant formats.
• Label and assess genuine transaction records, menus and order sequences for AI training.
• Share Toast concepts in writing and conversation, and help refine prompts, assignments and datasets with other contributors.

Preferred experience and skills

• Preferred candidates currently work in hospitality and operate Toast POS daily.
• Detailed understanding of restaurant operations and the connections between orders, payments and POS software.
• Strong written and spoken explanations for both technical readers and people new to restaurant systems.
• Ability to document procedures accurately in accessible language.
• Awareness of how quick service, casual dining and fine dining create different system needs.
• Experience helping colleagues learn or adopt restaurant technology is an advantage.
