Image assessment work

Contribute original artwork or photography to a remote US contractor project evaluating AI images. The work relies on close visual observation and precise written critique; previous AI experience is not necessary.

• Submit digital images or photographs you created, following the supplied specifications.
• Compare your original work with generated versions and record visible differences throughout each image.
• Assess anatomy, color, illumination, perspective, textures and small details.
• Identify distorted anatomy, damaged or blurred textures, mismatched shadows and unusual reflections or lettering.
• Describe each issue concisely with professional visual terminology and identify its location in the image.
• Review methodically, giving accuracy and detail priority over speed.
• Coordinate with project organizers and other contributors so assessments are comprehensive and feedback is consistent.

Preferred creative background

The project favors applicants with at least two years in digital art, retouching, compositing, 3D rendering, graphic design, color grading or photography, supported by a portfolio of original work. Preferred skills include proficiency in creating and editing images with Photoshop, Lightroom, Procreate, Blender or comparable software.

• Strong written and spoken communication, especially when describing technical visual features.
• Ability to notice small differences and recognize artifacts specific to generated images.
• Basic familiarity with image generation methods and their common failure patterns.
• Experience with Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Firefly or Flux is helpful.
• Previous image evaluation, annotation or creative or technical quality assurance work is an advantage.

Working approach

The engagement is remote and restricted to the United States. Your reviews should connect each observed defect with a clear description and image location so the feedback can support improvements to AI image modeling.
