The work

Help improve language AI through precise Cantonese and English transcription. Review recordings and automatic transcripts, preserve linguistic nuance and deliver clean text with accurate timestamps. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Transcribe and annotate Cantonese and English audio consistently and accurately.
• Revise automated transcripts against language rules and project guidance.
• Resolve subtle wording, accent and contextual issues in recordings.
• Produce timestamped transcripts that meet formatting and quality standards.
• Clarify uncertain content with project leads.
• Share language insights that improve training data and model performance.
• Submit work within the agreed schedule and milestones.

Preferred experience and skills

• Preferred candidates have native Cantonese and strong comprehension of regional dialect differences.
• Professional transcription experience, especially with Cantonese and English material.
• Close attention to accuracy and linguistic nuance.
• Proficiency with transcription and playback tools and typing in both traditional and simplified Chinese.
• Clear, thorough written and spoken communication.
• Linguistic data review for technology, media or research projects is helpful.
• Independent organization and the ability to deliver quality work remotely.
