JavaScript Developer

The work

Review AI JavaScript and write sound solutions that improve how models reason about code. This flexible remote contract involves 10 to 40 hours weekly and welcomes experienced developers without previous AI work.

Responsibilities

• Assess generated JavaScript for correct behavior, efficiency, and current ES6+ practice.
• Write strong solutions to programming problems at different difficulty levels.
• Explain code logic and solution choices in clear prose.
• Identify unusual cases, bugs, and potential failures in web or backend code.
• Provide organized technical feedback that supports improvements in model coding performance.

Background and skills

A deep command of core JavaScript is required, including async/await, closures, prototype inheritance, and DOM operations. You need three to five years of practical experience with React, Node.js, Vue, or similar frameworks.

The role calls for clear written reasoning, methodical review, and reliable independent work. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred. Previous AI experience is unnecessary.

Additional strengths

Helpful experience includes data labeling, reinforcement learning from human feedback, AI evaluation, TypeScript, code review, technical writing, software quality assurance, backend JavaScript, and REST API development.

Working arrangements

This is a remote hourly contract with 10 to 40 hours per week. Work is organized around independent assignments and a flexible schedule. Assignments are asynchronous, with possible ongoing projects and contract extensions.
