Research responsibilities

Develop training questions grounded in real statistical and biostatistical research. Evaluate whether AI responses demonstrate accurate methods and reasoning that are relevant to actual analytical problems.

• Build expert scenarios from practical statistical modeling work.
• Assess AI answers for methodological accuracy and relevance.
• Give structured written feedback explaining how model performance can improve.
• Complete assignments at your own pace, without a prescribed schedule or minimum hours.

Methods and qualifications

A bachelor's, master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Econometrics, Data Science or a related quantitative discipline is required. Candidates need deep expertise in one or more areas of statistical or biostatistical methodology.

Relevant areas include statistical modeling, Bayesian methods, causal inference, regression, experimental design, longitudinal analysis, time-to-event analysis, time series and related quantitative approaches. Experience applying these methods to actual research questions, datasets or scientific problems is important.

Maintain an active connection to current statistical or biostatistical research and literature. Proficiency with R, Python, Stan or similar computing and modeling tools is required, together with clear writing, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Contract terms

Rates can reach $75 per hour and depend on the project. This is an ongoing, part-time contract opportunity in AI research, not a conventional staff position, and can run alongside existing work.

Tasks are completed remotely and asynchronously, with a flexible schedule and no minimum weekly commitment. Registration, identity verification and onboarding to an appropriate project come before the start of paid participation.
