Recording and transcription

Create Saudi Arabic audio samples and matching transcriptions for a language learning project. The contract is remote and part time, with a flexible structure that requires you to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

• Record varied phrases on your own device to contribute to an audio collection.
• Transcribe every recording accurately, preserving the meaning and cultural context of the spoken language.
• Keep expressions and pronunciation authentic to Saudi Arabic.
• Communicate remotely with the customer team to receive instructions, offer feedback and submit finished work.
• Vary microphones or smartphones when available to increase the range of recordings.

Required skills

Native Saudi Arabic and a deep understanding of local dialects and cultural details are required. Strong written and spoken communication in both Arabic and English supports project instructions and team exchanges.

You should be able to transcribe speech accurately and efficiently, work independently in a remote part time arrangement, and maintain linguistic consistency through close attention to detail. Ability to work with different audio recording devices is needed, with no restriction on equipment quality.

Preferred experience

A background in language teaching, linguistics or translation is helpful. Familiarity with language technology or learning tools, and experience delivering clear audio and written language data through digital systems, are also preferred.
