Description
Project overview
This speech-data project collects natural Danish recordings from native speakers to improve voice assistants and speech-recognition systems. Participants read short, scripted commands on a smartphone so models can better understand everyday spoken language.
Recording task
- Record 150 short prompts in Danish through the designated mobile recording app.
- Read each everyday command clearly, naturally, and at a comfortable pace.
- Review the recording guidelines before starting and complete the session in a quiet setting.
- The full assignment is expected to take about two hours, including guideline review.
Eligibility and equipment
- Native speaker of Danish.
- Currently living in Denmark.
- At least 18 years old.
- Smartphone compatible with the mobile recording app.
Payment and allocation
Payment is issued after a complete session of 150 prompts is accepted. If a participant receives fewer prompts, compensation is adjusted proportionally. The project uses a first-come, first-served allocation model and demographic quotas, so an eligible participant may not receive an assignment after a quota is filled.
Work setup
This is remote, project-based independent-contractor work completed on the participant's own schedule. Clear delivery and adherence to the recording instructions determine acceptance.
