Chemistry Specialist (Masters/PhDs)

Develop rigorous chemistry training material

Create and solve advanced chemistry problems that test AI scientific reasoning. The scope includes organic, inorganic, physical and computational chemistry, with attention to real scientific relevance.

Scientific work

• Write nuanced problem statements that expose weaknesses in model reasoning.
• Develop accurate solutions with clear scientific explanations.
• Review generated chemistry content for correctness, depth and rigor.
• Work asynchronously with researchers and other subject specialists to improve model performance.
• Check every deliverable for ambiguity, chemical errors and imprecise language.

Qualifications

A master's degree or PhD in chemistry or a closely related field is required. You need deep expertise in at least one of the listed chemistry domains, fluent English and strong scientific writing.

The work calls for independent research habits and close attention to detail. No prior AI background is needed.

Preferred experience

Python or computational chemistry tools such as Gaussian, VASP and ORCA can be useful. Other helpful backgrounds include scientific annotation or evaluation, AI training workflows, research publication, peer review and academic teaching.

Familiarity with AI tools or prompt based evaluation is an additional advantage.

Remote contract

The hourly contract involves ten to 40 hours weekly, with flexible remote scheduling and independent scientific assignments. Continued work or an extension may be possible as new projects begin.
