Description
Molecular design for AI evaluation
Contribute to a small expert group improving training data for life sciences AI. The focus is sequence and construct design performed before laboratory experiments, including primers, plasmids, RNA and repair templates.
- Design and assess nucleic acid constructs based on your professional work.
- Author demanding tasks with accurate, documented reference solutions.
- Compare model answers with those solutions and explain issues in correctness, rigor or reasoning.
- Coordinate with other molecular biology specialists to maintain consistent data quality.
Relevant expertise
You should be a current or recent practicing molecular biologist with direct experience designing sequences before experiments. An advanced degree in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, synthetic biology, bioengineering or a related field is required, with a PhD strongly preferred.
A substantial publication record is an important measure of expertise. Work associated with Nature, bioRxiv, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press and eLife is particularly valued; include links to relevant publications.
Strong writing and clear justification of design choices are essential.
Initial scope
The group will process approximately 50 to 100 design tasks over an opening period of 2 to 3 weeks. The program aims to begin this week and has a strong potential to continue beyond that initial period.
