This remote contractor project uses engineering knowledge to improve AI training and evaluation. Your contribution centers on SysML v2 textual models that accurately represent requirements and preserve traceability.

• Translate engineering requirements into faithful textual representations.
• Develop reference models and example architectures for evaluation benchmarks.
• Draft, revise and document rubrics for judging the quality and correctness of generated models.
• Review model outputs and give structured feedback on accuracy and modeling practice.
• Draw on requirements, concepts of operations, interface control documents and architecture specifications.
• Resolve technical uncertainties and clarify deliverables through asynchronous written and verbal collaboration.

Helpful background

Preferred experience includes professional systems engineering and practical SysML v2 textual modeling. Preferred knowledge also includes a thorough grasp of developing requirements, defining system architecture, controlling interfaces and maintaining model traceability.

• Experience interpreting ConOps, ICDs and other core engineering documents.
• Clear technical writing and spoken communication suited to remote projects.
• Prior model reviews, assessment methods or evaluation rubric development.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning or engineering projects informed by data.

Experience in aerospace, space, defense, automotive, maritime or communications is beneficial, but those industry backgrounds are not required.
