Finance Lecturer (AI Training)

The work

Evaluate AI finance and economics content using experience teaching the subject. This flexible remote contract focuses on accurate reasoning and clear explanations of valuation, risk, financial theory, and market behavior.

Responsibilities

• Review generated finance and economics material for correct content and clear expression.
• Assess explanations of valuation, risk, markets, financial theory, and related concepts.
• Identify conceptual mistakes, misleading arguments, and familiar misunderstandings.
• Provide organized expert feedback that improves financial reasoning.
• Identify missing explanations and points likely to confuse students or other learners.

Background and skills

At least three years teaching finance or economics at the postsecondary level are required. Applicants need strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial markets, or financial economics.

You should evaluate written reasoning precisely, work systematically through substantial volumes of structured content, and deliver reliably without close supervision.

Additional strengths

A master’s or PhD in Finance, Economics, or a related field is helpful. Applied finance experience, including investment banking or asset management, and familiarity with AI, model evaluation, or prompt based work are additional strengths.

Working arrangements

This is a remote hourly contract with flexible working hours. Work is organized around independent assignments and a flexible schedule. Assignments are asynchronous and can fit around other commitments.

Research collaboration may continue through ongoing projects or contract extensions.
