• Analyze macroeconomic datasets, market movements and policy changes when evaluating outputs.
• Check written economic reports against quantitative indicators for accuracy and coherence.
• Identify the factors behind market or economic outcomes and weaknesses in model reasoning.
• Write structured summaries of trends, risks and scenario implications.
• Evaluate central bank statements, regulatory commentary and macro model results.
• Apply consistent analytical standards across recurring assignments in defined workflows.

Experience and skills

• A background in economics, finance, financial research or a related area.
• Strong interpretation of economic data and financial market dynamics.
• Clear analytical writing that organizes complicated information into useful conclusions.
• Self direction and comfort working independently within established frameworks.
• A systematic, detailed review approach.
• Central bank, monetary policy or regulatory analysis is preferred experience.
• Macroeconomic modeling, quantitative research, sell side research, asset management, policy work or academia are useful backgrounds.
• Structured data assessment or quality review experience is an advantage.

Working arrangements

This is an hourly contractor role with a flexible schedule and fully remote work. Tasks can be completed independently and asynchronously. Further assignments or an extended engagement may become available as new projects begin.
