[Vietnamese-Taiwan] - Voice Recording Specialist

Smartphone speech recording

Read and record 150 short prompts in Vietnamese for a speech data collection project. The recordings are used to train and evaluate speech recognition models so that voice assistants can better understand everyday users.

This is an independent contractor assignment that can be completed from anywhere within Taiwan, on your own schedule. The full task takes approximately 2 hours, including time spent reviewing the instructions.

What to record

• Read the provided short, scripted prompts clearly and naturally.
• Record everyday spoken commands using a compatible smartphone and the project's mobile recording app.
• Follow the recording guidelines so the submitted speech meets the project requirements.
• Complete the assigned recording session, normally consisting of 150 prompts.

Participant requirements

You must be a native Vietnamese speaker, currently living in Taiwan, and at least 18 years old. A smartphone compatible with the required recording app is necessary.

Payment and availability

Payment is issued after completing a full session of 150 prompts. If fewer prompts are assigned, the payment is adjusted proportionally; no numerical payment rate is provided.

Assignments are offered in order of availability and use demographic quotas. A participant may receive no task if the relevant group is already full. Selection therefore does not imply that every registrant will receive a recording session.

Selected contributors receive account setup instructions and complete the required registration steps before continuing with the project.
