Project focus

Complete three months of rigorous banking work without a live-client pitch cycle. The work is split between building finance deliverables and reviewing completed work with precise explanations of what holds up and what does not.

What you will build and review

• Build DCFs, trading comps, precedent transactions, and LBOs from scratch with full supporting assumptions.
• Produce valuations, models, and decks across M&A, financial advisory, and capital markets.
• Review contributor work by checking logic, identifying broken links, and explaining required corrections.
• Judge AI-generated analysis on the same professional standards, even when the presentation looks polished.
• Help translate how bankers reason into material an AI model can learn from.

Background

• 2+ years in investment banking at a bulge-bracket or elite-boutique firm.
• Strong command of modeling, valuation, and deal mechanics.
• Ability to explain why reasoning is correct or incorrect, not merely label the result.
• Curiosity about AI; no technical background is required.
