Conversation Quality Analyst

The work

Evaluate generated conversations for natural language, helpful responses and a coherent flow. Explain what makes a dialogue effective or awkward through consistent, structured reviews. AI or linguistics experience is not required.

• Read conversations spanning varied topics and situations.
• Assess whether replies match the context, tone and needs of the conversation.
• Flag unnatural phrasing, reasoning errors, irrelevant answers and disrupted flow.
• Compare alternative conversation paths and rank their overall quality.
• Submit detailed evaluations using the supplied rating criteria.

Experience and skills

• Strong reading comprehension and an intuitive sense of natural speech.
• Ability to judge conversational quality objectively and explain the reasons clearly.
• Consistent, detailed review that applies the same standards across assignments.
• Comfort processing substantial volumes of dialogue efficiently.
• Reliability and self direction when working independently.
• No previous AI, linguistics or NLP background is needed.
• Writing, editing, communications or content assessment experience is helpful.
• Quality assurance, research, critical analysis or everyday chatbot experience is also useful.

Working arrangements

This is an hourly contract for 10 to 40 hours each week, carried out fully remotely. Work independently and asynchronously on a flexible schedule. Further assignments or an extension may become available as new projects begin.
