Electrician

Translate field experience into AI research

You'll evaluate AI-generated content using firsthand knowledge of electrical installation, wiring, diagnostics and code compliance. The contribution focuses on helping AI understand practical workflows and professional decisions, rather than taking on a conventional field assignment.

• Create expert training data from the work processes and tools you know.
• Check AI responses for accuracy and relevance to actual electrical practice.
• Provide feedback grounded in professional field experience.

Relevant experience

At least 4 years of professional experience is required. Suitable backgrounds include Journeyman, Master or Licensed Electrician; Industrial, Commercial or Residential Electrician; Electrical Contractor; or an Electrical Apprentice with at least four years in the field.

You should have hands-on experience with at least one of the following: electrical installations and wiring, circuit diagnostics, blueprint and schematic interpretation or NEC compliance. Familiarity with multimeters, conduit bending equipment, AutoCAD Electrical or electrical estimating software is also needed.

Previous AI experience is not required. Clear writing, attention to detail and the ability to work independently are important for contributing useful evaluations in a remote research setting.

Contract terms

Compensation can reach $85 per hour, depending on the project. This is an ongoing, hourly contract opportunity that can fit alongside your other activities, not a conventional staff position.

The work is remote, part time and asynchronous, with flexible scheduling and no minimum hours. Contributors on active projects commonly spend around 5–20 hours per week. Assignments depend on current project needs, with consideration for future projects as suitable work becomes available.

Participation starts with account registration, identity verification and onboarding to a relevant project before paid work begins.
