Evaluate AI in Chinese trade and logistics

Develop practical benchmarking scenarios for international commerce, customs work and global supply chains. The research tests whether AI understands the operational and regulatory requirements of China's international trade and logistics environment.

Scenarios reflect import and export activities, freight forwarding, trade documents, transportation, supply coordination and client relationships. Reviews focus on answers that are accurate, workable and consistent with professional logistics practice.

Tasks and evaluation

• Create scenarios in Mandarin, using Simplified Chinese, or in English, based on Chinese operational settings.
• Cover import/export documentation, customs clearance, Incoterms, freight coordination, international transport, trade compliance, warehousing and supply chain planning.
• Adjust structured rubrics for logistics problem solving, customs and trade compliance, customer communication, transport management and shipment coordination.
• Review AI and human responses for factual accuracy, regulatory compliance, operational feasibility, logistics practice and customer service quality.
• Contribute reference solutions grounded in Chinese international trade, customs brokerage, freight forwarding and supply chain management.

Professional background

Native-level Mandarin with Simplified Chinese proficiency and strong professional English are required. Candidates need at least five years of experience in international trade, logistics, customs, supply chain management, freight forwarding, import/export operations or global trade compliance.

Required knowledge includes Chinese import/export regulations, customs procedures, international shipping documents, Incoterms and tariff classification. Familiarity with trade compliance, transportation management, supply chain operations and cross-border commerce is also essential.

The contribution draws on real operational experience rather than general language fluency alone. Accurate use of trade rules, documents and logistics procedures is central to both scenario construction and response review.

Availability and contract terms

This is independent 1099 contract work intended to supplement other income, not a full-time job or guaranteed primary income source. Demand changes between projects, so assignments and hours are not guaranteed.

You decide when to work and how much to accept, without fixed schedules or routine check-ins. Once you accept an assignment, reliable availability, quality work and timely delivery are expected; most tasks require at least two hours per day or ten hours per week.

Employee benefits are not included: the arrangement does not provide health insurance, paid time off or retirement contributions. Contractors handle their own taxes, and geographic restrictions may affect participation.
