Description
TypeScript assessment
Review AI-generated TypeScript code to improve its type safety, scalability, and consistency with modern engineering practices. This role focuses on evaluating and guiding coding systems rather than building a product.
- Assess implementations for correctness, safe typing, and sound modern practices.
- Solve difficult tasks with idiomatic TypeScript, generics, utility types, and current frameworks.
- Explain architecture choices and type reasoning through detailed feedback.
- Identify subtle typing mistakes and broader design weaknesses, then describe how to fix them.
- Write clear technical summaries that make type-system decisions understandable.
Required skills
Deep knowledge of static typing, generics, interfaces, conditional types, and utility types is essential. You need three to five years of practical experience with tools such as React, Angular, Next.js, Node.js, or Nuxt.js.
Strong architecture judgment and precise written technical explanations are required. The work calls for dependable independent delivery, while a bachelor's or higher qualification in Computer Science or a related area is preferred.
Helpful background
Annotation, model evaluation, AI training, code review, and technical documentation are useful experience. Developer tooling, type-system design, compiler theory, and previous freelance development are also welcome.
Working arrangement
The hourly contract is fully remote with flexible asynchronous scheduling for 10 to 40 hours per week. New projects may support continuing assignments or an extension.
