The work

Contribute US corporate law expertise to AI training across commercial, contract, M&A and general counsel matters. Review documents and explain business legal risks with practical precision. Previous AI experience is not required.

• Assess corporate, commercial and transaction documents for accuracy, enforceability and compliance with US law.
• Draft and review agreements, contracts and policies, giving feedback grounded in sound corporate practice.
• Explain complex legal concepts in accessible language for AI development.
• Identify significant issues, emerging trends and risks in transactions and negotiations.
• Create realistic cases, scenarios and document examples for training datasets.
• Clarify deliverables asynchronously with stakeholders and address corporate law questions.
• Provide precise written and spoken insights into legal wording and its practical consequences.

Preferred experience and skills

• Preferred candidates hold a JD from an accredited US law school and active membership in at least one US bar.
• At least five years in corporate, business or transactional practice, including contracts, M&A and risk management.
• Experience as external counsel, in house corporate counsel or a business legal consultant.
• Strong explanations for varied audiences in writing and conversation.
• Familiarity with US commercial law and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency drafting and reviewing varied corporate and commercial agreements.
• Curiosity and interest in technology related projects.

Working arrangements

The engagement is remote for US based contractors. Payment is earned for completed tasks that satisfy project requirements.

Typical handling time is around three and a half hours per task. Effective hourly earnings depend on the number of tasks completed and approved.
