Strategic Project Lead, Finance Expertise

The work

Own finance focused projects for AI lab clients from initial scope through delivery. Translate customer needs into clear specifications, launch data workflows and coordinate operations with finance experts to deliver quickly and accurately.

• Frame, scope and execute projects through final delivery.
• Convert customer requirements into practical specifications for finance work.
• Design and improve pipelines for usability, accuracy, quality and scale.
• Coordinate operations and finance specialists for rapid launch.
• Set milestones and keep delivery moving through a disciplined execution schedule.
• Maintain direct, consistent client communication.
• Manage finance experts and project leads against quality and delivery expectations.
• Provide daily internal updates with progress, obstacles and explicit next actions.

Experience and skills

• A strong background in finance, financial engineering, economics, accounting or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, especially with senior finance professionals.
• Ownership, urgency and close attention to detail.
• An entrepreneurial approach and willingness to execute in an intense, changing environment.
• At least two years leading complex projects, operations or finance initiatives.
• Ability to convert unclear customer requests into workable plans and act quickly.
• AI or ML business, lab, annotation or evaluation project experience is preferred.
• Finance focused, technical or data intensive project management is helpful.
• Knowledge of financial modeling, investment analysis, markets, accounting, data pipelines, AI training or expert review operations is advantageous.

Working arrangements

This full time remote position has a national base salary range of $180,000 to $230,000 per year. Employees are eligible for equity, and performance bonuses may apply depending on role and policy.
