• Assess the accuracy and quality of generated English across translation, summarization, dialogue and grammar correction.
• Edit or rewrite text to meet linguistic and cultural expectations.
• Annotate grammatical patterns, sentence structure and meaning.
• Identify language gaps and model errors, working with researchers on improvements.
• Provide detailed linguistic analysis and feedback to guide ongoing training.

Experience and skills

• Native or near native English fluency with excellent grammar, syntax and stylistic judgment.
• Professional experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation or NLP data work in English.
• Strong understanding of language nuance, regional variation and wording appropriate to the context.
• Careful attention to subtle mistakes and unnatural expression.
• Clear communication and experience collaborating in distributed remote teams.
• Interest in AI and language model technology is preferred, but not mandatory.

Working arrangements

The project works with an AI research lab and offers practical exposure to language model research and development. Your linguistic assessments inform both the quality of training data and evaluation of generated language.
