Research-based evaluation

Required background

A master's-level or doctoral qualification in STEM or another highly technical subject from a highly regarded university is required. You need a strong record in research, publications, or managing complex technical projects.

Excellent spoken and written communication and close attention to detail are essential. The work requires independent self-management and an interest in how AI can change the application of knowledge; prior AI industry experience is not necessary.

Helpful experience

Annotation, data quality assessment, and model evaluation are useful backgrounds. Python, R, or other research programming languages are helpful, as is familiarity with AI tools, reasoning benchmarks, or language model workflows.

Research spanning several technical disciplines is also welcome.

Contract terms

The hourly engagement is fully remote with flexible scheduling for 10 to 40 hours weekly. Assignments retain the rigor of advanced research and may lead to ongoing work or an extension as new projects begin.
