The work

Help develop safer AI supported prior authorization workflows through clinical pharmacy review. Answer medication questions, assess generated responses and identify cases needing escalation using patient context and source evidence.

• Answer medication questions using patient information, supplied sources and labeling guidance.
• Review generated responses for correctness, patient safety, clarity, completeness and evidential support.
• Correct errors or omissions and provide structured annotations with explanatory feedback.
• Escalate insufficient evidence, conflicting guidance, unclear patient context or safety concerns.
• Apply review rubrics consistently and participate in calibration and feedback discussions.

Experience and skills

• An active US pharmacist license and PharmD or equivalent qualification.
• Strong experience with medicines, pharmacy workflows and clinical decisions.
• Detailed knowledge of interactions, contraindications and prescribing guidance.
• Clear writing, close attention to detail and comfort following structured annotation instructions.
• Availability for 30 to 40 hours a week throughout the project.
• Preferred experience includes prior authorization, specialty pharmacy, managed care practice or helping patients obtain medication.
• Epic, Cerner or other EHR experience, clinical quality assurance and healthcare AI review or annotation are useful.
• Experience in medication assistance programs or 340B services is also welcome.

Working arrangements

Review topics include medication indications, dosing, contraindications, interactions, treatment history, authorization criteria and supporting records.

Success requires evidence supported reviews, strong agreement with quality standards, dependable throughput and timely delivery. Reviewers must recognize safety concerns and ambiguity, escalate them clearly and incorporate calibration feedback quickly.
