At-Work Video Recorder [Remote]

The recording project

This remote contract pays small business owners and participating employees to capture ordinary work for AI and robotics research. Recording follows existing routines without changing daily business operations.

What you will do

• Obtain workplace manager permission before recording.
• Record first-person footage of your hands handling physical objects during normal work, using a smartphone head mount.
• Submit videos through approved mobile recording apps.
• Record a minimum of two hours each day at your workplace and carry out physical tasks safely.

Suitable workplaces

Participants must work in real commercial or industrial settings. Eligible activities include agriculture, landscaping, auto services, carpentry, cabinetmaking, woodwork, ceramics production, commercial cleaning, construction, electronics repair, event venues, food or beverage production, lodging, logistics, warehousing, moving, manufacturing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, restaurants, commercial kitchens, and retail.

Business owners can register multiple participating employees.

Equipment

• A personal iPhone 12 or later, Google Pixel 6 through 9, or Samsung Galaxy S21 or later.
• A smartphone head strap purchased locally; reimbursement is available up to $20 USD with a valid receipt.
