Advanced biology training content

Develop and review scientific datasets that help AI represent the structure and depth of biology. Assignments involve specialized questions, concepts, diagrams, experimental information, and material across different levels of complexity.

• Classify and label advanced biological content accurately.
• Connect principles across molecular biology, genomics, systems biology, physiology, and other specialties.
• Examine model answers to research-level problems, identify errors, and explain improvements in detailed feedback.
• Design and curate datasets covering a broad range of biological topics and difficulty levels.

Required expertise

A PhD in Biology or a closely related discipline is required, together with substantial research, teaching, or advanced problem-solving expertise. You should have created or critically assessed complex scientific, educational, or technical work.

Relevant examples include peer-reviewed papers, advanced curricula, laboratory research, and sophisticated simulations. The work also requires clear explanations of difficult concepts and the ability to connect advanced theory with practical applications.

Data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training and model evaluation experience is helpful.

Contract arrangement

This hourly, at-will contract is fully remote and asynchronous with a minimum commitment of 15 hours weekly. US-based contributors are preferred, and the US pay range is $25 to $100 per hour.

Starts occur as projects become available. Contributors have defined responsibilities and autonomy, while consistent high performers may lead programs or mentor new subject specialists.

Selection

The process begins with an English-language AI screening about your background. A biology-specific interview then assesses advanced principles, analysis of complex processes, and practical application of theoretical frameworks.

Candidates are reviewed on a rolling basis and contacted when their expertise fits active work.
