Inpatient Care Physician (MD/DO)

Clinical data review

Contribute inpatient medical expertise to AI documentation and decision support tools. Evaluate records carefully so clinical claims are supported by the evidence in the underlying documentation.

• Review FHIR data and clinical notes for AI training and development.
• Check clinical statements against the supporting record.
• Assess histories of present illness, past medical histories, assessments and care plans for discrepancies or omissions.
• Follow consistent standards and detailed review guidance.
• Provide actionable feedback on data quality and model performance.
• Communicate findings in written reports and discussions with project stakeholders.

Preferred clinical background

An MD or DO with board certification in internal medicine, pediatrics or hospital medicine is preferred. Current or recent inpatient or hospitalist experience is valuable, particularly clinical work within the past two years.

Relevant skills include patient assessment, diagnosis, hospital care workflows and careful review of both clinical notes and raw record data. Chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review and medical coding or quality assurance experience are advantageous.

Strong clinical reasoning and clear written and spoken communication support the detailed, constructive feedback required in this work.
